Most Hersheypark rides can be enjoyed by guests with disabilities provided the guest meets the various restrictions posted at each ride (including height). The “Accessible Rate” for this admission is $31.95. Hersheypark has a program in place to provide special access to rides for guests with disabilities as well as special pricing on admission. Below is the response I received from Hershey Park, and includes the price of a heavily discounted ticket. So, I have been writing to different amusement parks to find out about discounted tickets and other services for people with disabilities so I can do what I’m best at, plan some family activities. But bringing James can suck all of the fun from the day without a little bit of preparation, and I really hate to spend money on his ticket just so he can cry in line waiting for rides he probably won’t end up going on. My husband is a fan too □ And, our philosophy with James often involves pushing the boundaries of his comfort zone. Why go, you may ask? Well, we have other children, particularly my 2 yr old daughter who really enjoy all of the above. All tickets expire in the season and year for which they are purchased with the expiration date indicated on the ticket.James is terrified of many things at amusement parks, like the rides, the noises, the waterpark, shows, characters, etc. Cash and charge are accepted to pay for parking. Just show your season pass to the parking attendant to be scanned and drive right in. But starting in 2020 parking is included with select season passes. Parking is not included in your Hersheypark day ticket. The kids ride the flumes and we cool off at an amazing waterpark. We skip all the rides and hit the wave pool and the lazy river. We are season pass holders and we will take the day or just an afternoon to enjoy the water park. It all can be done in one day but you will not get to ride all the rides you would want and your day will be rushed. One day for the park with its rollercoasters and Zoo America and another day for The Boardwalk at Hersheypark. My advice is that you need a minimum of 2 days to fully experience Hersheypark.
